Are You Ready; The Call

The Call
This is a Call
To ALL
Who believe
Who know there’s more than what we see
Who aren’t satisfied with the ordinary

… There’s something bigger going on.

We were born uniquely; Full of fire
We were born with great purpose, burning dreams and desire

Then came the destroyer, Our adversary
Armed with Naturalism and disbelief.
Creeping in through our fear, our pride and greed,
Up through our headphones
And out through our screens
A glamorous disaster of glittering graves
Ensnaring our people and making them slaves.

So he devours
Taking casualties at mass
Clothed like a 1st Class Pharisee:
“We shall tickle their ears, with what they want to hear.
Never teaching them to FEAR the LORD
Just don’t offend them, or let them get bored.”

Tell me now_
Just how many “Christians” are barely survivin’
When God says Disciples are conquerors and thrivin’

Since worldly “success” became a force fed fashion,
Our once unique flame’s, now just “rebellious” reaction

Being taught conflicting answers, to life’s basic questions
Who are we? Why are we here?

A fight for minds, A fight to mold.
Behind faces and money
A fight for our souls
Where did we come from and where’d we go wrong?
This is the Sound of A War going on.

We lined our lives with “rock superstar” crimes,
Selling out like a bunch of Barbie dolls.
Like culture zombies just killing our time
Customizing my space, my mask and walls

But there is a call
To the hurting dirty and dieing
To the hard knocks hittin’ bottles instead of crying

You see,
We were born uniquely
A people Full of fire
We were born with great purpose, dangerous dreams and desire

So
This is The Call
To All
Who crave a radical life.

Who want to escape the mundane
Who know it’s not enough having money and fame
Raw, Real and Ripped open
Who WILL NOT STOP till they see behind the curtain

Certain, that we’re not alone
Determined to find
our place, our cause, our reason for life

Who are “buck” enough- Tough enough to admit
“I can’t do it on my own”
Who are willed enough to take it,
Standing alone

We are prophetic people,
Proclaiming signs of the times,
Who Tagg em up on the subway walls
Who can sniff out hypocrisy, and rip it up like dogs

We’ve been called the Joshua, Elijah, John the Baptist Generation.
Meant to flourish in the desert
And prepare the way
For an earthshaking return:
The Great Judge’s day.

We’ve been called
To shake it ALL up
To wake em’ ALL up
To cry out in the streets,
Ringing bells and digging up bones
That too long have been asleep.

Who are we?
A nameless, faceless generation.
Who won’t be known for our crowns
or worldly success,
but known for our King.

We are a special generation
Chosen among the ages
To rise up, for “such a time”
According to His plan and precise design.
We are unstoppable people when we find
A hope, a cause, just give us a reason
We’ll be recklessly radical
Givin’ it up to “live it up” to the fullest
A People of World Changing Passion

So This is The Call
To All Who know
And believe there’s something bigger going on…

This is a call to come and DIE
A call to finally LIVE TRUE LIFE
The kind you’ll only ever find
When you’re relentless to the call of Christ.
